Passport for my little girl

We are officially planned to go and visit Philippines this march 2009 hopefully. But the main concerned for me right now is to get Alyssa a passport. We don't know when we going to get her but i just hope we have so much time to do it. I already talked to hubby about it and he says the process of the passport here in the US is much easier compared to what i been through in the Philippines. So, i hope we can get her a passport before march.
