E-cig to quit smoking?

Husband is trying to quit smoking. He is on his almost 2weeks of using e-cig and so far he didn't crave any regular cigarettes. I don't know if the e-cig might be a good idea for those who would like to quit smoking but to him he believe that it will help. I really don't like his idea in the first place but thinking the extra money he is going to spend for each pack of cigarette is something that i kind of like. Although it does still have nicotine in it but at least i'm comfortable knowing that e-cig doesn't have tar and all other chemicals. Another thing i love about e-cig is, they don't have smell. husband can smoke in the house without even going outside. It didn't bother me at all.
