Limited jobs in town

The hospital in our little town is currently in huge trouble. They lay off about 60 workers this month which includes the nurses, housekeeping, etc. Everybody in the town are worried about the outcome because this hospital is only the place where people can get a job that pays high amount of a salary. Our town have only limited place to work and even the jobs retail are difficult to apply because of too many people in the county who are trying to get the job. Unless people like to drive an hour (roundtrip) to go to next towns and city, they probably will survive.
