Bathroom floors

I been planning on replacing our bathroom floors. It has laminate flooring on it right now but due to the fact that the house is about the same old as I am, replacing it would probably help to look like a bit newer. However I am battling on whether i will put vinyl flooring on top of it or replace with the discount laminate flooring which can be ordered online. The vinyl flooring seems a bit pretty but husband consider the laminate flooring most because aside from the fact that they are easy to clean and install, they are also durable, unsusceptible to dents and scratches.
